Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Shopify AI Connect ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Shopify AI Connect provides a WebMCP API that allows AI agents to interact with your Shopify store:

• Read products, orders, and customer data
• Update inventory (Professional tier and above)
• Create draft orders (Professional tier and above)
• Fulfill orders and process refunds (Enterprise tier)

3. Subscription & Billing

3.1 Plans

• Starter: $9.99/month - Read-only access
• Professional: $29.99/month - Read + Write operations
• Enterprise: $99/month - Full access including refunds

3.2 Free Trial

• All plans include a 7-day free trial
• You can cancel anytime during the trial
• No charges if you cancel before trial ends

3.3 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Shopify
• Charges appear on your Shopify invoice
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months

3.4 Cancellation

• You can cancel anytime from the billing page
• Access continues until the end of the billing period
• All MCP tokens are deactivated upon cancellation

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You MAY:

• ✓ Use the App for your own Shopify store
• ✓ Generate multiple MCP tokens for different AI agents
• ✓ Integrate with any AI service (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
• ✓ Use for commercial purposes

4.2 You MAY NOT:

• ❌ Share your MCP tokens with third parties
• ❌ Exceed rate limits or abuse the API
• ❌ Reverse engineer or copy the App
• ❌ Use for illegal or fraudulent activities
• ❌ Resell access to the App
• ❌ Attempt to bypass tier restrictions

5. Rate Limits

To ensure fair usage:

• Starter: 1,000 API calls/month
• Professional: 10,000 API calls/month
• Enterprise: Unlimited

Excessive usage may result in temporary suspension or upgrade requirement.

6. Data & Privacy

Please see our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.

Summary:

• We do NOT store customer PII (personal information)
• We only store usage metadata for analytics
• All data is encrypted and GDPR compliant

7. Service Availability

7.1 Uptime

• We strive for 99.9% uptime
• No SLA guarantee for Starter and Professional tiers
• Enterprise tier includes 99.9% SLA

7.2 Maintenance

• We may perform scheduled maintenance with notice
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice
• No refunds for downtime

8. Intellectual Property

• The App and all related code are our property
• You receive a license to use the App, not ownership
• You retain ownership of your Shopify store data
• We do not claim any rights to your data

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties
• We are not liable for data loss or corruption
• We are not liable for lost profits or revenue
• Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the last 3 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Actions performed by AI agents using your tokens

11. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms with 30 days notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Major changes will be communicated via email

12. Termination

12.1 By You

• Uninstall the App from your Shopify admin
• Or cancel your subscription from the billing page

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the API or rate limits
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent activity

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Israel.
